Howard County General Hospital in 1976
- I am a native of Howard County; I was born at Howard County General Hospital in 1976, back when it was only one building and on top of a small hill. I grew up in the North Laurel part of Howard County and graduated from Atholton High School in 1995.
- I grew up attending the First Baptist Church of Laurel, and I currently attend Grace Community Church in Fulton.
- Both my parents were public school teachers, so it is no wonder that I am now in my 8th year as a public school teacher. I teach government to 10th graders and law to 11th and 12th graders.
- I graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in Communications after spending one year at Howard Community College. I received my M.A. in Education from UMBC.
- Currently I am serving on the Hickory Ridge Village Board of Directors.
- I have coached high school baseball and soccer, as well as ran the summer All-Star baseball tournament for the Howard County Youth Program (HCYP).
- I have been married to my wife Kimberly for almost 5 years and together we have a daughter who will turn one in June. My wife is a public school guidance counselor.
- My roots in Howard County run deep, my mother graduated from Howard High School and I as well as my siblings grew up playing sports and going to summer camps right here in the community.
