Issues
There are many important issues that are facing Howard County and the State of Maryland. It is difficult to properly lay out exactly what I believe on every single issue, so I have tried to explain my thoughts on some of the major issues. If I do not address something that is important to you, please contact me and let me know your thoughts. Also, if there is something that you disagree with me about, please let me know that as well. Only through constructive discussion can we ever really come to a conclusion that best represents the views and beliefs of the community.
It is my goal to represent the entire district, regardless of political affiliation or status. In order to do this I want to hear from you and what is important to you and your family. Please stop by the Contact John section of this website and let me know what you think. As I tell my students in class, everyone’s opinion is important, even if it does not directly match-up with what you believe. It is through this sharing of opinions that we realize we have more in common then we first thought.
